For all our motorhome travellers keen to discover the capital, we now have the perfect base! Located just 30 minutes east of Paris and accessible via the Francilienne (4 kilometres) in Seine-et-Marne, you can take it easy on your travels. From the area, RATP bus lines 311 and 421 provide regular services to Gare de Vaires-Torcy, where line P will take you to Gare de Paris Est (metro lines 4, 5 and 7).

Paris is a world-renowned city of art and history, with plenty to do for all the family. Museums such as the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay and Musée Grévin. Heritage sites such as the imposing Notre-Dame Cathedral and the elegant Eiffel Tower. Operas such as the sublime Opéra Garnier… Culture buffs are in for a real treat. And there’s a whole host of other activities, including cinemas, cruises, fine dining and strolls along the banks of the Seine: a whole range of activities that will take tourists much longer than a day to discover the secrets of the “City of Light”.

Children of all ages will love a day out at Disneyland Paris (around twenty kilometres away)! Located in the city of Marne-la-Vallée-Chessy, the world famous park is also accessible by public transportation (RATP bus and RER A – Gare de Noisiel). Enough to keep you busy all day!

If you’d like to round off your stay with a peaceful day out in the countryside, why not take advantage of the activities on offer at the leisure park! Among the 350 hectares of nature stretching between the communes of Vaires and Torcy, venture out onto the lake, which offers both swimming and a variety of water sports (canoeing, rowing, sailing, rafting…). This year, the Olympic water sports events will be held here! For those who prefer to venture out on land, a golf course and horse-riding lessons await you.
